Central Queensland Christian Convention (CQCC) is a Bible-teaching ministry for this region. We particularly want to encourage people from the small country towns, throughout CQ. At this stage we are drawing people from Mackay to Emerald to Bundaberg, and everywhere in-between.
CQCC aims to deliver Bible teaching that is faithful, relevant, clear, and (most importantly) Christ-centred. We are self-consciously modelling ourselves on the great work being done by the Katoomba Christian Convention.
CQCC aims to encourage people to live for Jesus. We are disciples of Jesus, helping others to be disciples of Jesus. That means, growing together in our knowledge and love of Jesus. And, where possible, helping others to hear and respond to the great news of the saviour of sinners, Jesus Christ.
CQCC is non-denominational in outlook. It is our desire to see the convention used by Christians and churches to network and fellowship with one another. For most events, Rockhampton Presbyterian Church plays host, graciously welcoming us to their centrally located facility.
CQCC is a not-for-profit ministry. All work is done by volunteers, and all income (through registrations and gifts) is used to make the next convention an even bigger encouragement to God's people than the one before.
Please join us at the next gathering of Central Queensland Christian Convention.
